Rebuild the Cathedral of Notre Dame

My name is Lane Parker, I am 14 years old and I live in Flagstaff, Arizona (my Mom is only listed because she needs to withdraw the funds since she is over age 18!). This is me in front of the great Cathedral of Notre Dame, taken in December of 2016. My Mom took me to London and Paris, and Notre Dame was amazing. I am still learning French but loved Paris and love the language, and I am so sad that Notre Dame burned. My Mom and I talked and she said we would donate to help rebuild the Cathedral, and then we agreed we should start a fundraiser ourselves (since there was not one already when I first started this GoFundMe campaign). Our goal is to raise funds to give to The Friends of Notre-Dame de Paris (https://www.notredamedeparis.fr/friends). But all (100%!) of the money we raise will be given to help rebuild Notre Dame. If I can, I will get my Mom to take me there so I can present the money in person. (If not, I will send a check directly to the fund linked above.) I know that you can donate directly to that fund, and I know there are other funds you can donate to--but this is the only campaign I have seen run by an American kid who loves Paris and loves Notre Dame. I think that I can make a difference, and some people who might not have donated otherwise, might donate because I took the time to start this campaign, and to ask. And, I will write a personal thank you note to every person who donates. Vive la Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris!
