Ranwas School Building Project Vanuatu

Hello there!
This August, I have been fortunate enough to be placed on the Ranwas School project with CAUKIN for the final 4 weeks of construction (8 weeks total duration). I believe this project will make a great difference to the community in Ranwas and would be grateful if you consider donating to this worthwhile cause. As I’m studying a construction related degree, it is a project that I am passionate about and can contribute to in a positive way with the experience and knowledge I have gained at university.
Vanuatu is regarded as the country most prone to endure natural disasters in the world. In, 2015 the devastating Cyclone Pam hit the islands of Vanuatu causing major damages to a lot of their structures including Ranwas school, situated in the south of Pentecost Island. The people of Ranwas have started to re-build the school the best they can, however there are many aspects they still need help with such as building a new library and office. It is important for us taking part in the project to be able to deliver the best we can with the budget that is available, however additional features to the project can be added and possible for the people of Ranwas if we raise extra money!
CAUKIN Studio are a collective of young architectural designers that carry out work internationally relating to construction and design with a focus on tackling problems caused by environmental or economic causes. As part of their work, they integrate with the local community seeking to help them build and improve their quality of life.
