Raising money to help elderly handi-capped family

This family, Barbara (83) and Durwood (77) Ashley, are customers of mine. It has been brought to my attention that they could use some help! We are in the middle of coming up with a list/plan of items and things that are needed to help them out. They didnt ask for any help nor were they complaining about anything. After taking them home and picking them up one day I noticed their living conditions. Mrs Barbara is in a wheel chair most of the time, limited mobility, and Mr Durwood has limited mobility on his right side due to a stroke in the past. He also walks with a cane very cautiously. I took it upon myself to help this family. We are trying to raise money for home improvement inside and outside the home. They do live in a very small house, no closets, just one room, no walls, except for bathroom separate. The house does have some leaks. The A/C doesnt work. The washer and dryer is located in another building next door with terrible access to it. Literally walking through mud and a busted up wooden makeshift ramp to do laundry. Imagine a man walking in the mud with a cane trying to carry laundry back and forth... We dont have a finalized list of repairs to be made yet, but, it will be extensive. We already have lots of volunteers lined up ready to start helping with whatever is needed, but, Im afraid we will run in to quite a bit of cost to be able to buy materials, plumbing, electrical, appliances, hvac, handicap accessible items, concrete sidewalks, driveway repair etc... Were asking for help! This is a loving sweet family and I know them personally. We are looking forward to help this family every way that we can! Thanks everyone, please share!
