Helping my Single Mother

The strongest, most unyielding woman I have ever known. Too stubborn to ask for help, and even more stubborn when receiving it. This is for you.
Hi, my name is Pam. I'm a highschool student looking to raise money to help my mother, Margaret, who currently is the sole income of my household of approximately 4 people (her, my two brothers, and myself included) with the additions of two other teenagers (cousins wishing to study in Canada) and possibly my sister and her partner this coming July.
With so many people under one roof, we definitely need more room than our current 3 bedroom home has to offer. Furthermore, our home-- although still livable-- is a townhouse squeezed in between two extremely questionable neighbors. On one side, the smell of weed and the sounds of fighting frequently leak through the wall separating us. On the other, what seems to be a troubled, young mother that resorts to shouting and screaming at her children in order to "control" them. I want more than this for my mom, who already deals with more than her fair share of stress.
That being said, I would like to be able to help my mother move our family into a better location and (hopefully) into a home that she can finally be proud of when inviting guests over. That's the least she deserves.
One year ago, my family experienced a life-changing event that caused my mother to have panic attacks so severe that she was given sick leave for 3 months (as was ordered by her doctor). This event still impacts us today, as it involved the removal of our dad from our family when my sister finally came forth. He is currently part of a court process that prohibits him from coming into contact with our family. This case is still on-going, and since the last time I saw him, he was unemployed and in no state to provide for our family.
My mother therefore has 100% responsibility for clothing, feeding, sheltering and paying for me and my siblings. I myself work to help out when needed and to pay for my own expenses, as she still has debts to pay off that my dad racked up in the past with his gambling addiction and spending habits-- meaning that money for groceries or school fees are sometimes slim or nonexistent. So I would like to raise money to help her pay for our new home. Whether it becomes part of a down payment or emergency rent funds (we have had late rent payments in the past), I will leave that up to her, as in the end it all depends on what we can truly afford in the long run.

My singular interest is giving back to my mother, who has never once put her personal desires or needs before those of her children... who never once went out and treated herself to anything more than a coffee or a skirt from Goodwill... and who never once let her children down or was anything but a wonderful, loving mother.
