Help Jacob Beat The Odds

My son, Jacob Burris, was assaulted on October, 4th 2015. He has been in the neruo ICU on a ventilator for almost 3 weeks now. Over the course of the last 3 weeks he has had 2 brain surgeries, the most recent was to repair a tear in the main arteris to the brain. He has also had 2 angioplastys, a drain tube placed in his right lung, and a drain catheter placed in his spine to help relieve the pressure to his brain. Just yesterday, they placed a trake in his windpipe to help suction his lungs and make him more comfortable being on the ventilator. At this time they are currently keeping him heavily sedated and only waking him for assessments in which case he is not very responsive. Shortly after he was in the hospital his car had been stolen. The police have recovered it but it is totaled and all of his personal and work tools were stolen from the vehicle. We are trying our best to get it out but keep running into issues and the bills are racking up while it sits in impound. He is currently on Medicaid but his insurance is up at the end of the month. Jacob is a single father of 2 kids. He has a 6 year old daughter and a 5 year old son that he is responsible for. We are doing our best to take care of things for him but it just seems to be getting harder.
