Keeping our family together

Donation protected

Hi my name is Charles and my wife is Rehnuga. We want to keep our family together.

We recently found out that a miracle occurred; after some emotional setbacks my wife finally conceived and she is now 9 weeks pregnant.

Originally when my wife's Electronic Travel Authority expired we were going to move to her home country of Singapore. Things changed once we realised she was pregnant. It expires on the 10th of this month. April 10th 2017. (Update: Rehnuga has to be out of the country before 22nd of April).

This was happy news but it came with a catch. The last time we entered Australia together, immigration informed us that ETA, tourist/visitor's visas etc. would be rejected as my wife's intention was to live here and she is legally married. They told us to apply for the appropriate visa.

The price for that visa is $6850...

My wife has experienced sustained trauma for several years. She was sexually assaulted a short time before we met. She has miscarried more than once in the past due to stress. She would have regular panic attacks. It has been many months since this has happened.

She has recently started to recover with a low dosage of medication (Sertraline) and plenty of support from loved ones.
Sertraline information

Sertraline is a Class C substance (A being the lowest risk) as far as birth defect risk is concerned.

In Singapore there is very little support for people as inside knowledge and a quick google search shows

There is also the problem of employment in Singapore for pregnant women and because i'm an Australian Citizen I would need to wait for visa approval before working. So no money for medical costs.
Jobs for pregnant women difficult
You can legally be fired in Singapore if you are pregnant and have been employed for less than 3 months

There is no dole in Singapore. No disabality payment , no parenting or student payments regularly paid by the government.
Source of Funds........ Government: None

If you can't be employed then you don't get money or medical care unless it's an emergency and in which case you'll be slapped with a debt or money will be taken from your CPF (like superannuation) account if you have any left.

I was recently made redundant and already have one outstanding personal loan and a VetPay loan for an emergency treatment on our dog.

Here is a more earnest summary: Gathering this money would mean that we can stay togethere as a family, I can continue to earn money to pay for medical costs for my wife. Essentially I feel as if I would lose all hope if we can't gather the money. I don't like to ask for anything unless I really need it and I hate being in debt. I don't want to go on too much about my emotions at this time as it might come accross the wrong way. It would just mean more than I can put into words.
