Kari's Make Her Smile Fund

After beating cancer at the young age of 24, Kari went on to live a happy and healthy life. She got married, had an adorable son and was eager to have a second. At 8 weeks, Kari was excited to announce their new addition to the family, but the excitement was soon replaced with sorrow after the news of their miscarriage/ molar pregnancy. As if the loss of a baby was not enough, the spike of hormones triggered Kari's cancer to return. Catching it fast was key and Kari was put into Chemotherapy immediately. As of late, Kari's body isn't responding as hoped to the chemo and they have upped the intensity and quantity of treatments. With all this piling up, Kari is still focusing on the positive and looking to the days of being cancer free once again.
