Ryan's medical & loss of work

Donation protected
My son Ryan, a husband and father of two had an accident on the 12th of September.  He was doing yard work and rented a thatcher with his neighbor Chris.  Ryan was ready for his turn with the rented equipment and was on his way to putting up his pruning shears when he passed a shrub that caught his attention and needed to be trimmed.  Ryan had a small shear in his left hand and a very large pair in his right.  He took the large pair to quickly trim a branch and as he pushed the shears together, the next thing he knew he had shoved the small shear into his right wrist.  This (I not being there) is an account of what happened next.  The neighbor accross the street is a Medic in the Army and his wife a Nurse.  They both took action to stop the bleeding and not knowing the extent of the injury took him to the emergency room.  Jessica his wife left their 18 mo old with the neighbor and went to meet him at the emergency room.  After 5 hours they returned home. Jessica made and appointment with the hand specialist and from there Ryan was told he would need surgery. That Wednesday Jessica and I took him to the outpatient surgery.  Dr Byrd later told us he did need nerve and tendon repair.  He is not to lift any weight or use his right hand (thumb) for 6 to 8 weeks.
This week we went to the Doctor office to pick up the doctor notice for Ryan to be excused from work.  This is the hard part for a Mom!! He looked up after reading the note, not to return to work till 11/23/15. When he looked up his eyes were full of tears. "What am I going to do Mom?  I have to work!!

I am now asking after praying days for my son, for Medical help and financial.  The financial is for his loss of work.
Ryan has just enrolled in college courses to better his career and to better his care and support for his family.  I know that God has blessed this family and will carry and love him through these turbulent times.

There are no words for the blessings that we know are coming our way.  We can't thank all of you enough for your prayers and support.
