Mainers Help Puerto Rico Recover

Puerto Rico citizens are still living in a state of emergency two months after Hurricane Maria struck the beautiful island and created extreme devastation. With the help of Walmart and TOTE, Inc. I have organized a relief supplies drive in memory of my son, Mike Holland, who was lost at sea aboard the SS El Faro during Hurricane Joaquin in October 2015. We will collect needed supplies in a trailer over the next week at Walmart in Scarborough, Maine to be delivered to Puerto Rico. Many have reached out to me to ask how they can donate without having to drive to Scarborough. So I’ve created this gofundme campaign as a means for folks from away to be able help. Every dollar donated will be used to purchase supplies to help fill the trailer. Once the trailer is filled, Walmart will transport the supplies to TOTE, who will then deliver the supplies to Puerto Rico on one of their container ships. Please help honor my son’s memory and help the beautiful citizens of Puerto Rico.
