Adler Boardgame Cafe

$570 of $4,000 goal

Gordon Sampson  HOLLIS, NH
Adler Hobby is going to try something new, a board game cafe and tabletop game center in Manchester NH, Thats geared toward an over 21 crowd (and also under 21) that are looking for a "comfortable place" to meet and hang out in that doesn't include alcohol. There is a lot more to work out so this is just a bit to wet your lips on...coffee, tea and iced drinks, a board game library that's free to use and really nice scenic tables to game on.  No metal folding chairs and cheap plastic tables so no one feels like their sitting at the "kids table" while playing games.  Comfortable furniture to sit at or on like that you would find at a hotel lobby a more grown up version of the typical gaming experience.

We will be offering a wide selection of  flavors in coffee and tea as well as sodas and light snacks to keep you going while having fun at the game tables.  We will have a wide selection of traditional board games and tabletop miniature games from many genres of sci-fi and historic games as well as card games in a comfortable and friendly environment.

A place to take friends and family and a place to make new friends that’s alcohol free and caters to everyone including those with special dietary needs (diabetic, gluten free etc.) looking for a wider selection than most places have to offer. Having only one diet or sugar free drink to choose from will never happen at the Adler Café.

We specificly need funds to help with fit up ( remodeling and flooring ) and the boardgame library and if we get real lucky we would like to get a shuffleboard table for the patrons to add a little extra wow to the place.

CHECK BACK  FOR UPDATES OR on Twitter and facebook from April 6th till  May 30 2015

Some of the current gaming tables we will have at the new location in Manchester N.H. these green tables have a built in dice try and are comfortable for board games card cames and small minature games .

This will be our last update and our last time asking for your donations , We hope you like the pictures we've been posting on face book of our journey and all the construction we have been doing . These final pics really show off that some hard work and a lot of cash can turn coal to diamonds, we are getting so busy now with the product and set up, we are starting to make new friends and find old ones as the new place has folks stopping in to check things out and everyone seems to love how the place looks and what we have planned .Thanks to everyone who though we were worth investing in we hope to do you proud....Cheers Gordon & Denise

I'm sorry if I missed it, but what is "casual membership"? Will people have to pay some sort of membership to even walk in the door, is it a shoppers program, grants rights to play on the tables...?
