Friends and Family of Mark and Laura are excited to invite you to be a small part of a big change in their family.
After many months of waiting, and through many blessings and miracles, they will be able to bring their sweet Meili home to their family. Meili is a 3 year old Chinese orphan. She is just 3 months older than their youngest daughter, Laila. She has been living with a foster family most of her life, waiting for a chance to be adopted. Mark and Laura will get to fly to China this April (in 2 weeks) to finalize the adoption and bring her home to her 2 brothers and 4 sisters who are anxiously waiting.
Something special about Meili is that she was born deaf. The doctors in China don’t know exactly why or if there are any medical needs that she has, but this is where her new parents are eager to give her the best chance of living a successful life.
Here’s how you can be a part of this unique opportunity. They have made a family puzzle that will hang on their wall. (pictured above) To earn money for traveling expenses to bring Meili home, they are “selling” each piece of the puzzle. Each piece sold will have the name of the person who “bought” that piece written on the back. Our goal is to have every one of their family, friends, neighbors, facebook friends, church friends and anyone else who would like to be a part of their journey to have their name included in their family puzzle. You can buy 1 piece or 20 pieces, or simply make a donation.
Each puzzle piece is $5.00. ALL proceeds will be used for bringing Meili home and to help with her medical expenses. Don’t forget to leave your name so that it can be written on the back of the puzzle.
