"The Bald One" Blessing

For the past 30 years, Pastor Cal and Kelly have been an incredible blessing to the youth ministry at First Assembly/Northview Church in Fargo, ND. As many of you are aware, Pastor Cal will be transitioning out of the role as Youth Pastor of YOUTH at Northview Church.
Pastor Cal is not leaving due to medical reasons, but with many health situations that took place this year, we want to help offset medical expenses. On August 28, 2019 at YOUTH, we want to bless him and Kelly with funds to offset those expenses.
It all started last October when Cal was diagnosed with diabetes. Not long after, in late January/early February, he became sick after coming home from vacation. After not knowing what was going on for some time, the original diagnosis lead into what was soon to be some of the most difficult 9 months of his life. The doctors soon discovered that Cal had an irregular heartbeat and they ended up having to do a procedure to shock his heart back into rhythm. The procedure went well, but getting the medications right turned into a challenge.
One day, he was walking into the hospital for a visit to regulate the medications when his heart rate dropped so low, he ended up fainting outside the hospital. When he fell, on top of everything that was going on, he landed on his shoulder tearing his rotator cuff. The damage was larger than expected and he ended up needing to undergo surgery. Post-surgery, Cal has been in physical therapy working to get his shoulder back to normal.
Therefore, the funds being raised will be going towards blessing Pastor Cal and Kelly in this next season of life, and to eliminate any extra expense caused by unforeseen medical needs.
