Memory Quilts for Dallas PD

Hello! My name is Amber and I am from the Bay Area in Brentwood California. I am asking for your help in assisting in making 6 memory quilts for the fallen officers of Dallas PD, and one for the Police Department of Dallas.
Memory quilts are a great way for the families to have a little something to cuddle with when they are missing their loved ones.
Being a 911 Dispatcher, this tragedy has affected me both personally and professionally. I have been quilting for almost 25 years, and would love to send some love & cuddles to those families who's father's, husbands, and b rothers were lost. I am part of a law enforcement family here in California. My husband is an officer as well as myself being a police dispatcher. In law enforcement, we are all family. This tragedy affects every single one of us in every law enforcement agency across the country's.
I have teamed up with a growing list of local police wives and other local quilters to accomplish this goal. We would greatly appreciate anything you can contribute to assist us in paying for fabric, batting and shipping. We will be collecting funds for a few weeks. Helping us would mean so very much to me, everyone involved and most importantly the families affected. All funds raised by this campaign will go towards supplies for the quilts ; fabric, batting, backing, thread and shipping costs to send the completed quilts to Dallas.
