Kate's Heart for Women

My name is Kate Riley and I am doing a Fundraiser for the Women's Centre of York Region. I've been volunteering there for 8 months now and have seen what an incredible difference the Centre is making in the lives of women in our community. Women coming out of abusive relationships,  who are struggling with poverty and mental health are beginning to feel valued, empowered and are able to access the support, resources and programs that they need to move forward. The unfortunate part is that the demand is so high and is growing by the minute and here isn't enough funding to meet the demands. Just this cycle alone we were unable to accept 100 women into the Life Skills program that I volunteer at, because of a lack of funding. My goal is to raise $5000 or more by November 20, 2015 and so far I have raised just over $2000. I would really love and appreciate your support, these Women deserve it! Thank you!
