Franklinton Field of Dreams

As most of you know this past January three of our town leaders set out on a journey to give our next generation a positive outlet by forming the Franklinton Field of Dreams. We have watched Chief John Green, Sgt Andrew Bishop and Commissioner Brad Kearney work tirelessly to see their vision become a reality. We were overwhelmed by the support of our town and neighboring towns to donate or loan equipment to help us have adequate supplies for the games. Since that day we have met some opposition by individuals who want to discourage young people and the prosperity of our town. On Sunday May 22, 2016 it was discovered that equipment that was on loan had been stolen so we must now reimburse the person(s) that loaned it to us. Since we are a non-profit organization we must rely on limited resources to keep the Rec. League moving forward and progressing. This theft has been a setback to our goal(s) for our children.
