A PROMISE FOR PROM

Established by Tonya “Holly Wood” Rawls, “A Promise for Prom” was created to assist academically responsible teen mothers of Little Rock, Arkansas with the essentials of Senior Prom Night. Holly Wood’s mission is to help inspire adolescent mothers and remind them of all things possible. It is her own personal familiarities of being a teenage mother that produced the vision for this annual occasion. Holly Wood knows all too well what it is like to not have what you want for traditional senior activities. Giving birth to a handsome son at the age of 16, Holly Wood took control her of her life and began styling hair to make a way for her new child. With senior year approaching, Holly Wood came to realization that the special prom night she once dreamt of would remain a fantasy. Although she did attend her senior prom, she was not satisfied and never wanted another teen mom to be in the same position. Tonya “Holly Wood” Rawls is honored to be able to give someone something her and her parents could once not afford. Tonya “Holly Wood” Rawls is invested in the community she resides.
