On March 21, 2013. I almost lost my life when my home caught on fire while I was inside asleep. Everything an entire loss. Including my beloved cat, Benny.

I was flown to John Hopkins, Bayview, Burn Center. I was burned 65% of my body. I was told that a doctor advised I had 5% chance of survival. The doctor next to him gave his opinion. He advised it was only a 3% chance of survival.

For 3 - 4 months. I was in a coma. By the grace of God! Because during this time I under went thru like a hundred+ procedures. Skin graphs mostly. Still my status was grime. IF I survived it would be a miracle.

After 4 months they brought me out of my peaceful slumber. Too the most horrific pain and unbelievable realization of my nightmare. Thank God they give you the meds they do if not I believe what they had to do for me in itself could kill you.

I wasn't sure if I could post graphic photos of myself from top of where my breast once were, all the way down front and back to my toes.

After a year and 10 days in hospital. This MIRACLE was allowed to go home. I have been home for 1 yr 2 mos and 2 days. Still working hard on all I have to do to hopefully get back to work. Before accident I was employed for same company for 14 yrs.

Bottom line I have procedures and orthopedic surgery yet to go. I am still in wheelchair. I will never walk again without it. I am in need of any help I can receive . I have been so blessed so far that any help is icing on the cake. Money will go to bills, housing, medicines all of those are never ending. If it's possible maybe I can get my breast reconstructed. But not necessary. This is the last thing I would do. Hey... no more mamograms for me. Ha ha. I am not concerned about all the burn scarring. No plastic surgery ever! It's my reminder and to everyone that yes Miracles are all around us

So if you ever question yourself are there really Miracles. The answer is YES! I am happily waiting for "the reason I am still here" the "plans he has for me"!! NEVER EVER GIVE UP HOPE! All things are possible under God and the power of prayer.
