Help Hugo the (Former) Stray

About a week ago my good friend of many years messaged me and told me she had found an ad on Facebook for sweet kitty that was found of a back porch starved nearly to death. The family that found him nursed him to health but couldn't keep him. We decided to give the little guy a home as he looked so similar to our fur baby that unfortunately passed away.

When we got him home, and gave him the name Hugo. We noticed he was one of the most affectionate cats ever yet still wouldn't let us scratch his butt like so many cats love. I looked closer and found a small but very open wound. We took him in.

It was worse than we thought and Hugo had to have surgery. Something chewed him up. Bad. And he had a fever. We were still in debt from our previous cat and with this treatment the bills are higher than we can afford.

We need our vet bills paid off so we can continue to take him to said vet for shots and whatever else he may need as time goes on.
