Killorglin Rowing Club New Boat
Donation protected
Killorglin Rowing Club has been in operation since early 1990’s and has had a lot of success at local, national and international level. Numbers participating in rowing are continuously growing however our rowing boats are dated. Our boats are as old as 1995 and we are unable to fundraise enough of money to purchase new rowing equipment. We were also unsuccessful in securing funding under the Sports Capital Programme since 2005. We are very grateful to have the spectacular Boat House facility, however in order to continue our success on the water, we need newer boats.
Through this page, we are reaching out to rowing fans, past/ current and future members, local community/ businesses as well as general public that would like to help our juniors and aspiring champions to secure a new quadruple scull which will serve current and future generations.
A new Filippi boat (Quad) costs €16,475 excluding VAT at 23% (additional €3,789.25). We are hoping to raise €20,264.25 through this page.
Killorglin Rowing Club was a second home for a lot of people since 1990 and we hope that having supported your development as an athlete, or development of your child, you will be willing to support our fundraising efforts and support a future generation of Killorglin rowers.
Let’s pull together! One team, one dream!
Please share this page with anyone willing to help out.
