Put A Roof Over Miss Jan's Head

Jan Ready Marks is in need of a new roof. At the end of last year, after Hurricane Matthew tore her roof up, she thought she got a new roof. Jan hired a man to repair her roof and reshingle it and assumed it was done correctly. After he was finished with the job, she gladly payed him for his work and the supplies.
The first sign of concern was when she realized the new shingles were not the same color as the old shingles. After Hurricane Matthew it was hard to find shingles and roofing supplies, so she accepted the different color as being a result of supply. The next sign was a few shingles in the yard after storms, but, she just assumed they were from other roofs in her community that had also been damaged during the hurricane.
In February 2017, Miss Jan was in the hospital for a little over a week. During that time several thunderstorms went through the area and that's when it became very obvious that the man who "fixed" her roof had taken advantage of her and the situation. Most of the new shingles were scattered across her yard and the tar paper was left flapping in the breeze.
Jan is 81 years old, lives alone, uses oxygen daily, and is in a wheel chair. She is pretty much home bound because of mobility issues, serious breathing issues, and other health issues associated with her age.
The latest estimate to repair her roof is just over $3600, but, the longer it takes, the more repair her roof will need. The mobile home community where she lives has given her a letter saying that the roof has to be repaired, along with some other issues concerning her yard and mobile home, by the end of the month or they will start fining her daily and this could result in her being asked to leave. She has no place to go and no resources to make the required repairs. Jan really needs some help.
