PureCare Herbal Cream Legal Fee

Health Canada issued an advisory on PureCare Herbal Cream, stating that the unauthorized health product “PureCare Herbal Cream” may pose serious health risks. It has been confirmed that the cream contains clobetasol propionate, a highly potent prescription steroid (in fact, it's a Class 1 steroid!). Unlisted in the ingredients is also phenoxyethanol, a synthetic preservative.

Many of us (moms) have used PureCare's Herbal Cream on our babies for eczema and other skin conditions, under the impression that it is 100% natural with no steroids in the ingredients. After withdrawal of the cream, many of us observed some kind of flare up and we are all heartbroken to see our babies suffer. 

While we have approached Health Canada for further action on the seller, and also our Markham MP for further support, so far we have either none or very disappointing responses. Therefore, 23 of us decided to pursue for a legal opinion in our own expense. All we want is justice. It is not ok to sell such potent product and claimed to be 100% natural. It is not ok to just see the product being recalled and no penalty to the seller. We want to escalate this matter to Health Canada, not only hoping the seller and manufacturer will be penalized, but also Health Canada will impose a tighter regulation in regards to these "herbal cream" claiming to be 100% natural but in fact containing very potent steroid. We want to make sure no other moms and babies will become victim of this cream again! Please support us. Every dollar counts!
