Jeidyn-Life saving Heart Surgery

Donation protected

Jeidyn Anderson is 14 years old. She was born with a rare heart defect called Tetrology of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia (http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/899368-overview).  Since the day she was born life has been a struggle for her and her family.  Her parents were told her life expectancy would be 25 at best.  Due to her current health condition, her life expectancy has been brought to a time much nearer in the future. Cardiologists in both Washington and Oregon have ruled Jeidyn out as inoperable. Dr. Frank L. Hanley who works at Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital in Standford , California specializes in the heart defect Jeidyn has.  Out of desperation and endless hours of research and perseverance Jeidyn’s parents have secured an appointment with Dr. Hanley for an initial meeting on May 19th, preliminary surgery May 23rd and major surgery May 25th. The surgery itself will be paid in full.  The recovery period will be approximately a month, so it will be a little over a month that they need to stay in California.  The help Steve and Lysa Anderson (Jeidyn’s parents) need is with Jeidyn’s medical transport to and from her surgery, their traveling to and from California as well as living and housing expenses while staying with Jeidyn.  They will need to rent a car to get to the hospital as well as getting back to where they will be staying.  If you don’t have the means to help financially anything you can do would help, prayers, kind thoughts of healing and recovery, sharing this Go Fund Me with others or if you know of someone in or near Stanford,California who has a place that  Lysa & Steve Anderson could stay, if you know someone who could contribute, if you know places to share this and get the word out ANYTHING would help.  Without Steve & Lysa being there with her, there will be no life-saving surgery.  If this was your child and you were in the same situation, you would know that NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL. The more people that know about this the more likely we can make this happen.  PLEASE SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS. To get this far and to be prevented by these expenses, would be heartbreaking for her family, all those who know and love Jeidyn and of course, Jeidyn herself. I am setting the dollar amount to an amount that will cover their basic expenses and a little extra in case complications arise and their stay is longer than planned. It would be amazing to make Jeidyn’s long time wish to know what it’s like to run, a reality. I am asking as Steve & Lysa Anderson’s long-time friend, who knows how much they have sacrificed, what good parents they are and what good people they are, that you think about this and consider the good it could do.  Steve & Lysa have agreed that if they get any amount of money beyond what they need they will take that money and put it toward another family who is going through a similar life or death situation. Thank you in advance for any help you can give.
