Project Sand Angels

My name is Lion Stephen Osgood and I am the Gofundme Director for Project Sand Angels.

Lions International is celebrating its 100 year anniversary and the Lions of Rhode Island decided to celebrate it with a bang! Project Sand Angels is an event designed by Lions of Rhode Island District 42 to increase awareness for kids within the Adoption Rhode Island program.

On May 7th, 2016 from 11-4pm, the Lions of Rhode Island along with any member of the community will attempt to break the world record for "Most Sand Angels Made at One Time." The current world record is held by the "Keep Wales Tidy" organization.

In order for Lions of Rhode Island to capture the record, we need 400 or more people making sand angels at the same time. Anyone can participate in the event. Lions, non-lions, elderly, kids, etc.... All you need to do is lay down and make a sand angel.

The purpose of creating the Gofundme page for Project Sand Angels is to help raise money for Adoption Rhode Island. All proceeds will go directly to Adoption Rhode Island.
