PS 182 String Orchestra

My name is Daisy Rosario, PA President at PS182 in the Bronx.  Our students have always been able to have their student life enriched through a wonderful organization called "Education Through Music".  Some of the music programs that have enhanced the student life at PS182 are: music theory, chorus, instrumental instruction and our beautiful string orchestra (violin, viola, cello and base). Unfortunately this year our general school enrollment was less than a 1,000 students (about 950); therefore, creating a lack of funding for the "String Orchestra". Although we have been able to generate some funding we are still in need to raise $50, 000 to continue the instrumental instuction for the "String Orchestra". We hope to meet our goal in order to continue to provide this extraordinary music enrichment program to our students at PS182. Your contributions will be appreciated immensely and make many students very happy . Thank you.
