Promises2Kids - ALA SD23 Seniors

Let’s partner together to empower these epic children with LOVE and LIGHT!


In honor of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, we are supporting Promises2Kids, a non-profit organization in San Diego that creates a promising and hopeful future for foster children and children of abuse and neglect.

Your donations support two active programs!

Camp Connect - a program that reunites siblings that were separated in the foster care system with four magical days in the mountains of Julian. This special camp creates space for siblings to connect through adventures such as horseback riding, swimming, music therapy and zip lining. The camp provides the children with an environment of fun and safety, allowing them to feel freedom from their trauma and remember the joy of being a child!

Guardian Scholars - a program that supports foster youth who wish to obtain their dreams of education, success, and careers. This resource provides students with financial assistance to support and fulfill their vision for their life! They have support in higher education, mentor support, career coaching, exploration events and social activities. This program has a 90% graduation rate in vast comparison the the nationwide average of 10% for foster youth nationally. WOW!

Supporting one youth is ONLY $6,500= Their dreams get to become a reality. Promises2Kids will provide over 175 students this year alone!
