Project Welcome is a grass roots, community driven group of volunteers who are looking to be the change they wish to see in the world and help a refugee family find safety, happiness and freedom in Canada.
It is our intention to raise the needed funds and household items to support a family for one year and help them get back on their feet and integrated into our beautiful community in the Ottawa Valley.
The newcomer family will be chosen from the list of approved refugees generated by the Canadian Government and will be selected based on their specific needs and our ability to adequately support them in The Valley.
We hope that you will join us in opening our hearts - and wallets - and bring a family home to a new life in the Ottawa Valley.
Would you like to donate in someone's name as a gift?
When donating $25 or more, include the recipient's name & address, and we'll send them a certificate letting them know of your generous and thoughtful gift. **Remember to Select "Hide Name & Comment from Everyone but the Organizer"**
Charitable Tax Receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.
