The financial crisis has had a tremendous impact on virtually every facet of public life in Greece. The country is under immense pressure by some international organizations and has been forced to make serious cuts on everyday necessities. Most recently, the healthcare sector has taken a 40% cut, and a growing number of hospitals are beginning to rely on the goodwill of Hellenes and Philhellenes outside of Greece to provide some form of relief. Greece is under tremendous pressure, and it's being felt on some of the most vulnerable citizens: the sick and those in dire need of urgent medical attention.

We cannot stand by as more and more people suffer from these cuts.

The time to act is now.
