Project Cheer 2017
Tax deductible
Project Cheer is our annual initiative to spread some smiles and cheer during the holiday season to patients in the Central Florida area.
Last year we delivered bags to over 200 patients at ASPIRE, a local behavioral hospital in Central Florida. This year we are planning to bring gift bags to all of the patients, including the children! We will also be giving care packages to Lake Nona Veterans' Affairs.
In order to get this done, we need help in the form of generous monetary contributions, item donations that will be delivered to the patients, and volunteers to help us get the bags packed in time for the drop-off to the hospital.
Volunteer on Thursday, December 14, from 12-2 PM to help pack bags.
Please RSVP to [email redacted] with your name included!
You are also able to donate in one of two ways:
1. Online through GoFundMe
OR
2. Send a check by mail to our office:
Mental Health Association of Central Florida
1525 E Robinson St
Orlando, FL 32801
Dropping off items to our office is another way in which you can help. The types of supplies we are looking to include in these bags are:
• Colorful socks for child patients
• Comfy socks for adult patients
• Playing cards
• Puzzle books
• Drawing pads
• Books for journaling
• Candy :)
• Shampoo (travel size)
• Soap (travel size)
• Conditioner (travel size)
