Pro Editing Software for Voices

My name is Byron Odion. Here's my Story. A couple years ago I had the opportunity to Be a DJ on Kroot Radio Station 97.5. I had no previous broadcasting experience.  As well as playing music, I got started interviewing people for my Radio show. I enjoyed doing the interviews so much, I decided to do them exclusively. I have titled the series of interviews I'm doing, "Voices of the Methow". There are alot of interesting people who live here, as well as those who come through this valley for a brief performance, or talk, and it is a goal of mine to be able to record and share them.  I have a Mac computer and am currently using Garage Band for editing the interviews. Although my motto is "the lowest tech for the best effect", I am wanting to up my editing game for a higher quality, as well as simplifying production. I have set my sights on a professional editing program called Hindenburg which costs $375.00. I am asking for help to get it.
