Help the Price family cover legal costs related to their petition for guardianship of M.
The Prices have known M since he was placed in their care at 3 weeks old as a foster child. They have worked over the past four years to help M thrive and maintain relationships with members of his birth family, including his mother and grandparents. Negatu and M have become like brothers. Now his future is in limbo, as his mother is facing legal challenges of her own. The Prices are seeking a stable home for M, among friends who have known him his whole life, while always maintaining an open heart to those connected to him through kinship.
As friends, we have started this fund to help them shoulder the financial burden of legal counsel necessary to navigate the family court system and a potentially lengthy court process. The first retainer is $2,500 and we have set the goal anticipating several rounds of hearings. Please give any amount you can, it would take just 100 of us giving $100 each! Every little bit helps.
