Barre Vt. Lions Vision Screening

We are the Barre Lions Club of District 45  Barre Vermont.
We are participating in "Kidsight USA".
 Community Eye Screening for Children
Kidsight USA is a nationwide Lions program offering free vision screening for children (ages 6 months - highschool) across seven factors:
> Myopia (near focused)
> Hyperopia(far focused)
> Astigmatism (problem focusing)
> Gaze deviation (eye alignment)
> Anisocoria (unequal pupils)
> Anisometropia (unequal power)
> Gaze Asymetry (misalignment)

To do this we have purchased a WelchAllyn Vision Screener 100 and an HP Envy Printer.
We hope to screen up to 4000 childen  within the following year.
The up front cost was $8000.00 for the equipment .
All of the people perfoming the test are volunteers.
We would love to at least recoupe the equipment cost.
We area small club with a very limited budget.

We provide glasses and hearing aids and many other services to people in need in our communities.
As always our ability to give is less than the equest we recieve for assistance.
