Prayers for Joey

Joey is our family's joy. This little boy stole our hearts from the day he was born. He is now an active one-year-old toddler with an infectious smile and personality you can't help but love.
Our sweet Joey was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. He is receiving care at Akron Children's Hospital. He has had several blood and platelet transfusions, surgery to have a port inserted for treatments, a spinal tap and bone marrow testing completed. He started chemotherapy this week and will receive treatments over the next three years.
Joey has a battle ahead of him, but with the strength of his parents, family and friends, he will fight this cancer. Joey's parents, Jessica and Todd, are the most optimistic, unselfish and caring people we know. They would do anything they could to help a person in need.
It's our turn to help their family out during this very difficult time. We started this fundraiser to help ease the process of this unfortunate journey they have to endure. We want Jessica and Todd to be able to focus on Joey's treatment and the healing of their baby boy.
Any donation will be greatly appreciated and will be used toward medical bills, transportation, unpaid time off work, meals, diapers, etc.
