We are Positive Network Community Project and we desperately need of your help, so thank you for looking at our crowd funding page.

This is our story

We are a Community Centre based in one of the poorest neighbourhoods in London (East Merton) we provide well needed services to local vulnerable and isolated people within the community. Positive Network Community Project is a charity which has been running for 15 years we provide multi-cultural services to the local community. We currently lease Taylor Road Day Centre from the council. The council has given us a 25 year lease however after seven years of leasing the building the council wants to terminate using the break claus, stating breach of health and safety. However Positive Network Community Project has evidence of meeting the health and safety requirements. The council has stated all groups must leave and the council has not provided any support or provision forthese groups.

• Artistic Jam (Talent Showcase)
• Residents association
• Intergenerational project

By closing our service that supports poor families which falls in one of  the most economically-deprived areas of London this will create a "downward spiral" of poverty within our community.



The council will be taking Positive Network to court to obtain the premises. We are asking for £20,000 to help fund our legal fees 

We want to have a permanent Community Centre  for our service users.
