This page is to support a loving and devoted father who has fought for nine years in the Family Court for the right of his child to have a meaningful relationship with her dad. She has been cut off entirely from his side of the family and has not seen her father for four years now.
The poor child has only been permitted to spend one hour in the last four years with her father. Every day is a tortuous ordeal for this dad, knowing she is out there but having no contact with her. This nine-year legal battle has taken a toll on him emotionally, psychologically and financially. He just wants to have a relationship with his little girl, who deserves her loving father involved in her life. He will not give up on her, and she means everything to him.
Dad (who can't be named here) wants to help others in similar situations and to change the law to be more fair and focused on the rights of the child to maintain a relationship with both parents after separation, and for recognition of the pathology of parental alienation by the legal system. Kids deserve both parents.
Sadly, his matter went to final hearing in August 2018 and the court ruled in favour of the alienating mother in early 2019, effectively allowing her to remove him from his daughter's life until she turns 18 and/or seeks him out. He has filed an appeal but is self-represented with little chance of success without your support and funding.
