Point to Pinnacle Half Marathon

Hi Guys
A team of four of us are running the Point to Pinnacle half marathon in November to raise money for Cam’s Cause (Frighteningly, it has been coined as the world toughest half marathon).

Cam’s Cause is a not-for-profit helping others to ‘Aspire to Inspire’ through sharing the story of Cameron Baird, VC, MG. Cam’s Cause is also a proud and generous supporter of the Commando Welfare Trust, who look after the families of soldiers who have been affected by their service.
I have worked very closely with Cam’s Cause this year as 80% of funds goes directly to the 2nd Commando Regiment initiatives including the Recovery Centre and specially designed “wellness and wilderness camps” which address the care and more importantly the prevention of the emotional and psychological issues associated with service. 

These camps are available to both serving and ex serving Commandos and have proven to make a difference in assisting in the recovery from physical and mental injuries.
