Please help us show Ryan the good in our world!

At the request of many good people in and around our neighborhood, I finally decided to start this fundraiser to help restore my child’s faith in humanity. My 10 yr old son Ryan who happens to be an extra special boy, and very different from most kids his age worked very hard and saved up more than $500 to buy his own backpack blower so he could work with his dad doing fall clean ups, and help clean our yard as well. As I mentioned, he is not like typical 10 yr olds, rather than staying indoors playing mindless video games for hours like most kids, he can’t wait to go outside and work around the yard, or work with dad on his days off from school. I could go on and on about what an amazing, thoughtful, sweet, kind and unique child Ryan is, or what a tough time he’s had over the last several years due to having high functioning autism, anxiety and other issues, but I will stop here, and get to the point! Someone had the audacity and pure evilness to steal Ryan’s brand new backpack blower (less than a week old) out of the back of my husband’s pick up truck parked in our private driveway on Idle Hour Blvd just near Dowling College on Thanksgiving Day!!! They also stole some of my husband’s backpack blowers as well. Ryan’s blower is a gas powered Redmax brand blower with his full name written in permanent marker on the air box, and my husband’s are Stihl brand with Little’s etched into the machines. If anyone has any information about who may have stolen these blowers, please send a private message to my inbox. It would be so greatly appreciated, Ryan is heartbroken about someone stealing something he worked so hard to earn for himself! No kid deserves this, especially when he saved up to buy something that he could use to help others with, when there are so many other frivolous things a 10 yr old boy could waste his money on. This is beyond heartbreaking for us, we are just so angry and hurt. Any little bit you can contribute to show Ryan the opposite of what he is feeling right now would be so greatly appreciated.
