Voice for the Voiceless Staff

Friends and Family,

Thank you so much for supporting and investing in my last trip to Papua New Guinea. My team and I were able to share the photos with students and staff of University of the Nations and community members through a  Photography Exibition. My hopes are to use the photographs further by displaying them in coffee shops, sending them to magazines with written articles and sharing them with you!

As many of you know, I finished the School of Photographic Communication and  Voice for the Voiceless Internship with a project called Status: Welcomed. The goal of the project was to continue the work of the past three girls, Idun, Catherine and Bethan. We organized meetings, built relationships, photographed, and/or videod refugees and refugee organization staff and events. We shared on Facebook, Instagram and the Status:Welcomed Website.

My next step is follow God's dreams and to "go and do ministry." He has already fulfilled one dream without me asking: to write and photograph injustice issues for the purpose of raising awareness and educating communities to act upon the information.

I will continue to follow my dreams and God's call by going back to Kona, HA and investing in youth as Staff for the Voice for the Voiceless Discipleship School from August 15, 2016 to the middle of February (part of this time, I will be overseas).

My heart will be so overjoyed as I will be able to co-lead a small group, mentor youth one-on-one, teach photography, co-lead a team on outreach and use the many other gifts that God has given me to love and teach youth.

I have a small window of time to raise funds as I finish my internship on June 30th and fly home on July 7th. I would be happy to babysit, clean houses or businesses, mow lawns, administration (update social media, analyze data, write reviews, or file), and photography shoots (senior, couples, family, wedding, or just for fun).

My goal is to raise $4,000 for housing, toiletries, small essentials, food and transportation unless someone knows anyone in Kona, HA that would be able to rent out a room in turn for services (babysit, clean, etc.) during some evenings of the week.

Thank you so much for your support in the past and this present future. It is never unseen. I apologize for not writing proper thank you letters or sending gifts. I will try to be better about this in the future.

Please know that every dollar you earn and give will be invested in the future generation whom want to make a change their lives, families, communities and world.

Press the contact button if you decide to send a large donation. I will send you my home address through email as Go Fund Me takes a percentage of the money.

Blessings,
