Peta to Cambodia with 2h Project Midwifery Team

In November this year, I will be part of a team of Midwives travelling Cambodia as part of The 2h Project’s Safe Arrivals Maternal Care Training Program.

In Cambodia, most midwives in are known as a Traditional Birth Attendant (TBA) and learn how to deliver a baby from watching other mothers give birth. This Program aims to provide training to the Traditional Birth Attendants in some of the poorest and remote parts of the country, where maternal mortality rates are highest.

For this trip I am required to fundraise a minimum of $3000.00 to help support the Safe Arrivals Program.  This is where I am hoping you can help by donating money.  Donations are tax-deductible and a receipt can be issued.
