Peru 2017 Operation

Hi Everyone!
My name is Jayson, I am a student at the University of Maine pursuing a career in the Natural Sciences. I will be traveling to Peru in May with a small group of people in order to assist the villages outside of Cusco with ancient agricultural practices, and infrastructure maintenance, but I need your help to get there!
The trip will be for a total of 40 days spent backpacking around Peru. I will spend 2 weeks working on a family farm in Maska and our goal is to assist them with whatever they need, whether it is harvesting/planting, building infrastructure, supplying irrigation, etc, in order to help them continue their farming practice and their generosity, and support to their community. The villages we are visiting and working in, are a hub of ancient Inca argriculture and medicine, so they are a great resource for the area and the rest of the world.
Your generosity will go to paying for the program fee, which covers transportation/food/housing while I am in Peru. A small additional fee of $600 goes to the community project we are working on, and fully goes to the villages.
Thanks to all the help so far I have paid off HALF of what my program is costing! I just need a little bit more help to cover the rest of the cost and the community fee. As a disclaimer none of what you donate will go to anything by the organization and community. Flights, visas, etc., will all be covered by my own funds.
