Penelope Pearl says thank you Jack&Jill

Donation protected
Over the last 12 months, our incredible daughter Penelope Pearl has been receiving home care from Jack and Jill.
On Christmas Eve 2018, a day after her second birthday, Penelope Pearl was diagnosed with PCH syndrome.
PCH is a heterogeneous group of rare neurodegenerative disorders caused by genetic mutations and characterised by progressive atrophy of various parts of the brain. PCH is a life limiting condition, There is no known cure for PCH.
Penelope has a few other complex issues including optic nerve  hypoplasia and is PEG fed.
Penelope can not sit, crawl, walk or talk- she also can not use her hands in a meaningful wAy to grasp or hold items. Penelope  requires 24 hour care.
This is where Jack and Jill come in.
Knowing PP is being cared for, in our home, with people in the know and equipped to care for her means the world.
From weekly chats with our adored nurses to advice from our liaison nurse, during difficult times and times I just need to go to bed for a rest, we would be lost without Jack and Jill.
J&J provide home care for some of Ireland’s most precious children.
We want to raise some money in Penelopes name to say thank you.
