pay off a friend's debt

Just trying to help out a friend with a debt problem that is complicating his life and that of his family considerably, he is paying off in time payments but they are nagging they want it all now and accuse him of trying to avoid paying.  They threaten and so forth, part of their hostility is because he and his family converted to Christianity. This yong man is employed but not enough to do this in a timely way and maintain his and his parents' home with their small income. I can't afford
to kick in much so I thought I'd start this gofundme effort.  

Here is what he has to say copied from a Facebook conversation when he knew the gofundme campaign was started that this might help by explaining.
I have left off his name and location to avoid retaliation against him by any of those involved. seems he and his family were victims of a lot of fraud.

"I work as an accountant in a private company. I have four member in my family. One younger sister and my sweet Mom & Dad. My father is a fish vendor .My mom is a housewife. we live in a small  rent house.

Now my reasons for need of money as soon as possible.
My mom took money from some persons as loan with low Interest for our study and for my sister when she was last stage of suffering from Dysmenorrhoea because we didn't have money for treatment of my sister and for even study also.

My mom took loans because she was thinking to refund them after selling our land which is now taken by some others. Still there was a hope like we talked with a lawyer who said us that he would help us by giving loan after recovering our land but we didn't have money to pay his fees so my mom again took loan for someone for last time that she was thinking she will refund everyone after getting loan which was promised by the lawyer. So mom gave to the lawyer $780 (50,000 Rupees Its huge amount for my family) and he was like giving hope don't worry I will make you easy to out of your all financial problems. days comes and goes but nothing was going to happen and finally he said I will not able to provide you loan also can't refund you the fees you paid to me because I tried . he said like don't ring me again. find someone else. my mom became helpless no more way find someone help us. Even land taken by someone even lawyer also became fraud.

Again one day one of my relative rang to my mom like she was saying I would apply mortgage loan and I will help you again I saw smile on my mom's face I was happy for a moment. Then the relative start to asking money day by day to apply for the loan the my mom gave her around $600(40,000 rupees) then the relative was giving hopes and my mom was waiting for the good day but finally the relative also runaway somewhere till now no call no text from her.  My mom like no more humanity left in this world everyone is busy to betray and fraud. She is saying to make a poison like she don't want us to live also if she die alone they will still come to us to ask money to whom we have to refund  so she is planning like she wants to die whole family together by taking the poison and forcing me to make it by seeing from internet. I am telling her to have patient. but as I earn $125 (8,000 rupees) per month and my father earn $322(20,000 rupees) per month as far we can see no way to refund them with our income not even to pay their interest.
they never stop to come and abuse us rudely but my mom don't reply them anything .In fact we don't have relative to help us. In fact we don't have relative to trust or to help us .

Also being a Christian I went to ministries for asking help though they are rich they say like sorry we can't help you but we will pray for you now you can go. I see far no more love in this world. It's like living in last stage of my life as a being human patient left no more and have to die soon as mom saying. Everything seems going to be dark and ending of my family's life soon. Lots to say but I think this much will be enough by a text to explain  to kind hearted man to understand."
