Paradise Fire Home Rebuild Fund

Donation protected
My sister Vicki Jo and my niece Regina Mussatt both lost their homes in the Paradise fire. The devastation of losing everything is beyond belief.

Vicki Jo and her husband Ron retired and bought their home in Paradise 5 years ago.  They had a lifetime of irreplaceable objects lost forever. My sister is a talented artist and not only creates beautiful paintings but refurbishes furniture into beautiful pieces.  Ron has "retired" twice in his life, once from the police department in L.A. and again from Honda Corp. He had his own hardware store in Etna, CA which they sold to relocate in Paradise.  These are hard working people that don't ask for handouts.  They have to restart their lives at a time when they should be enjoying the fruits of their past labors and playing with the grandkids.  They have insurance but with a high deductible so all of their current needs are out of pocket expenses.  Things like food, clothes, gas, relocation fees.

Regina (Gina) and her husband Tony Mussatt have two boys, Arthur 4 and Everett 1 1/2 years old. They bought their first home in Chico 2 years ago and moved into their home to Paradise. They have been long time residents there and had found a forever home to raise their 2 boys. Their home was totally destroyed.  Tony is a UPS driver and a musician that had quite a collection of guitars and recording equipment. Gina is  a stay at home mom that refurbished most of their furniture into new pieces. They are hard working people trying to figure out how to rebuild their dream home.

The Paradise community has no running water right now, no cell lines, limited passage to get there.  They are both staying with family out of the smoke filled air.  My sister and Ron have a temporary trailer located out of Chico and Gina and Tony plan to return to Chico in a week as he has to return to work at UPS.  They hope to acquire a trailer for their property but without water and cell service they are still wondering how and where they will stay.

These are just two of the families devastated by this fire in need of help.  There is so much to do. Chris and I live in Huntington Beach and so far away to be of help physically.  I am hoping the people reading this will be moved to help them and we can be apart of making their days a little more comfortable as they begin to rebuild their lives.  Thank you so much for reading this and your donations are so appreciated.

We chose the $7,777.77 number for a goal as we thought it was a "lucky" number?  We hope we can exceed this goal which would be put towards their rebuild fund for both of their homes.

God Bless you all.
