Maternity leave

I’m a new mom and loving every single second of it. Even the sleep deprived, covered in spit up and holding a screaming baby moments. I have a full time job that I love, but am not ready to go back to yet. The company I work for doesn’t offer any paid maternity leave, so when I was 7 months pregnant I picked up a second job serving at a local restaurant in the hopes of saving up enough tips to be able to afford to take the entire 12 weeks baby bonding time that’s allowed by law. Well, baby came 2 weeks early and the small amount I was able to save is gone November is almost here and I have $17 in my bank account. Not quite enough to cover my basic bills for the upcoming month. I don’t like to ask for help, I never expect any handouts, but I guess I’m willing to try anything if it would mean being able to spend one more month with my baby girl. 2 months just doesn’t feel long enough. I appreciate any help!!!
