Paedatric student nursing in Ghana

I have been offered an amazing once in a life time experience to head to Ghana and work as a Student Nurse in the local hospitals and baby clinics.
Within this i will be working in neonatal intensive care unit, Children's A&E, Mother and Baby's surgical unit (delivery suite). I will be there to offer a helping hand to all the children and potentially save lives. I will be spending 3 weeks in the heart of Ghana ready and raring to work for their hospitals to look after these sick children and babies. While over there i will be keeping a blog of all the amazing experiences i will gain while working over there.
In order for me to go over and care for these children i will need to fundraise, therefore will be doing fun nights. These include ladies night(cocktails), bake sales, race night and even a sponsored walk (and for you who know me this is a big deal!!!) also set up this page i would be grateful for any kind donations.
