Alongside my peers from the University of Notre Dame - School of Education, I have been given the absolute privilege to travel to the Padre Manuel Luis Primary School in Timor-Leste.
This service-learning immersion tour will take place over June and July of 2019 in a community called Maliana, nestled about four hours from the main city of Dili. The money from this fundraising will not only be used to purchase educational supplies such as pens and paper for the school children, but after these supplies have been purchased all excess will go into the school itself and the surrounding community.
Anything you can spare to help change the lives of these children would be greatly appreciated!
