Gary grew up in Cokato, MN and graduated from Dassel-Cokato High School in 1977. He moved to Texas and lived there for 30 years. He moved back in 2013 and has been working for his brother, Craig Isaacson at Roos-Frick Construction in Minnetonka. In October of 2015, Gary was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and has not been able to work since that time. He just finished a round of radiation and is in the testing phase to see if he is a candidate for a bone marrow transplant. The money from the campaign will be used to pay for Gary's medical insurance deductible for 2016 and other surmounting bills. Since Gary has not been able to work, any money that is raised can be used immediately for every day living expenses. Being diagnosed with cancer is a very humbling experience. Receiving the devasting news is life changing. The generosity of others is unbelievable! Any money that you could donate would be fanstatic and eliminate some of the stress that goes with not being able to work. Life goes on and so do the bills.  I've been waiting for the day when my brother would move back home. It's been great to have us all together again but I didn't think that we would be facing this challenge! Life is precious and it can change in the blink of an eye. It's hard to see someone you love struggle. This is why I'm reaching out to my friends and family for their love and support, prayers and any donations you can afford.  Thank you, in advance, for your generosity.  There is also a benefit for Gary on January 9, 2016, at the Ironhorse Bar and Grill in Cokato. It will be an all day event with a Silent Auction, portions of food and beer sales going directly to Gary. There will also be a drawing for a 55" Vizio Smart TV. Tickets are $5.00 and you do not need to be present to win. The evening will be topped off with the band Rize performing.
Thanks again - words cannot express how much everyone's help means to Gary and our entire family! Our hope is that he qualifies for a bone marrow transplant and we will have Gary with us for years to come!
