Relief for Hurricane Dorian - Ocracoke

We, at Triangle Delta Waterfowl and Lake Norman Delta Waterfowl, are raising funds to help get much needed supplies to our neighbors and friends impacted by Hurricane Florence.  Florence has wrecked so many in Eastern North Carolina and help is desperately needed.  

We have secured transportation to the most impacted areas and will be making runs of supplies including food, water, fuel, generators, cleaning supplies, diapers, clothing, etc.  Please consider donating to help us get more supplies to our neighbors who need our help.  100% of the funds raised to be used to purchase supplies and donations and will be directly delivered to people impacted by Florence.

On September 19 we went to Havelock, Davis, and Otway, NC to deliver supplies and cook.  We fed 1400 PEOPLE a hot chicken meal in Havelock where locals, first responders, linemen, etc all got a great meal prepared by our volunteers.  One lady even said it was her first hot meal in the last 6 days.  That same group took a box truck of supplies and gave to folks headed to Bridgeton, NC (diapers, water, food, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc).  Another group of our guys took a tractor trailer donated by Bradley Built LLC and a 16' enclosed trailer full of supplies to Davis Fire Department and Otway Fire Department.  People there are not expected to get power back for another week or so!  As an example of how needed these items are, in Davis, due to the limited supplies, families were limited to one roll of toilet paper per day.  We delivered over a pallet of toilet paper.  The tractor trailer was filled by the donations generated on this page.  EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR (and then some) was used to directly buy supplies for these people! 

Now, we have volunteers ready to go to Southeast North Carolina next week, when the waters recede, to replicate this effort.  Please consider donating to help the cause!
