Eye for Aiven

Our classmate,  Aiven Aguilar, needs a prostetic eye; he is currently a junior at Greene Early College in Snow Hill, NC. Aiven has been living with only one functional eye since he was a small child; as a result of a tragic accident.  As he has grown older, his prostetic eye does not fit properly and has had to be replaced several times.  After eight months of fighting  an eye infection, and wearing an eye patch to school for weeks and weeks,  his new eye is ready to be inserted; however, his insurance company has denied his claim since funding eyes is a complicated process. His family will have to pay money out-of-pocket for this medical procedure  that will cause a financial strain for his family.  As his friends and classmates, and as a GEC family,  we want to help Aiven raise the necessary funds to help pay for his new eye,  but we need your help to meet this lofty goal.
