A Basin Enduro 2016

For the second year, Maggie and I will be skiing our hearts out on April 13th in the A Basin Enduro, an annual fundraiser that raises support for a member of the Summit County community. This year, the beneficiary is Dave Repsher, a Flight for Life nurse and Copper Mountain ski patrol paramedic injured in a helicopter crash this past summer. We are super excited about this and hoping to raise some additional money to support Dave and his family, and we are hoping to use this as a way for you to be a part of it!
A little more about the event. Teams of two ski non-stop on the Pali lift for 10 hours, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, to ski as many runs as they can. (Last year we skied 51 laps but are aiming to beat that this year. We've both been doing squats non-stop since last April. Just kidding, but we have been skiing lots!) After the event is an awesome dinner and silent auction with live music and beer where you can bid on cool items and watch us try not to fall asleep in our delicious plate of pasta. -Just come hang out! A Basin is a blast on Enduro day! Come ski A Basin or drink beer on the beach and watch us hooligans try to stay standing for 10 hours. Then join for dinner after! It seriously is AMAZING food and well worth the $15. Plus, if you work in Denver that day, you can still make it to dinner! It doesn't start until after the event finishes. -Participate in the Enduro Light. While the event filled up, they added a new event this year called the Enduro Light, which is a less intense but still super fun way to explore the mountain with a buddy. -Donate! It's been incredible to see the support that has surrounded the Repsher family, and we are super excited to be a part of it. There are a few ways you can donate.
