A Pilgrimage Across Europe

After walking across America in the 1990s--and along the perimeter of the U.S. in the early 2000s--it's time to conquer my second continent: Europe. A Pil­grim­age Across Europe is a multi-year trek from Spain to Roma­nia to raise aware­ness about dia­betes and the link between exer­cise and dia­betes man­age­ment. I will be walking The Way of St. James, or El Camino de San­ti­ago, and will stop along the route to present an educational and inspirational dia­betes program at hos­pi­tals, schools and camps.
